What is our return policy?

From date of delivery or collection, the buyer otherwise known as the customer or client has 72 hours to report any defects, errors or issues to Dylan at Take My Junk. Upon inspection, Take My Junk will decide to offer a partial or full refund subject to the received condition or defect. The refund excludes delivery or pickup. It will be the buyer's responsibility to deliver the item/s to Take My Junk's office in Honeydew, Roodepoort. The buyer acknowledges that the item is second-hand and thus does not include a warranty or guarantee and Take My Junk cannot be held responsible for any damages, loss or defects post 72 hours of the sale.

What don't we collect or move?

We only collect household or automotive items. No rubbish, landscaping or rubble.

Do you collect unwanted items that are free?

No. We charge a flat call out fee to come remove your unwanted items. The rate is a per load rate whether it's one item or a full truck load. Text us to get a quote and see how we can help you unclutter your space!

What areas do you operate in?

We collect within a 40km radius of Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

What happens to my unused items that you collect?

Once we collect your items, we either refurbish it and sell it, or we donate the item, or if the item is unusable we recycle it.

Do you buy unwanted or used items?

No. We're not in the business of buying other people's junk. We simply collect it for a flat call out fee. So that you don't have the hassle of trying to sell it online or Facebook Marketplace or taking up precious space in your home or office.
